Mollie Katzen Online - I LOVE Mollie Katzen. She has innovative ideas, yummy recipes, and she stays current on the latest nutrition research. Highlights from her site include the Harvard Nutrition Roundtable (scroll all the way over to the RIGHT to see the index on this pages), including a great article, "The Best Diet for Sustained Weight Loss". Also a wonderful page of Mollie's Recommended Links, as well as lots of recipes and a community bulletin board, where Mollie herself chimes in!

Vegetarian Resource Group - Info about vegetarianism, recipes, nutrition, and other info.

Vegetarian Kitchen - Tasty-looking recipes and cooking tips. Emphasis on low fat/high carb eating.

Lower Carb Vegetarian Eating

Although most vegetarian cooking tends to be high in carbohydrates, those that find improved health by lowering their carb intake can still be vegetarian:

Vegetarian Lowcarb - Cyndi Norman's premier site for lowcarb vegetarians, with lots of information and recipes. Her page of protein sources is especially excellent.

Protein Power for Vegetarians - Bulletin board with some great info and resources. Gaelen, the moderator, is a very innovative cook with lots of share. Select "Show All Topics" in the drop-down menu to see everything on the board. Be sure to read the thread entitled "Vegetarian PP Strategies and Resources".

Dana Carpender on Veggie Low-Carb Eating - On her very helpful "Hold the Toast" Web site, Dana has wonderful information for low-carb eaters. This section of her FAQ is a must-read for vegetarians following this way of eating.

Karen's Kitchen - Resource for the Zone diet, with emphasis on vegetarian cooking. Karen herself is a vegetarian.
