What's
In Your Food?
Nutritional
Analysis - nutrient composition of foods
NutritionData.com
- the most user-friendly site I've found. Plus in the food you want
and it will tell you what's in it. Be careful to make sure it's
the right amount, though - look at the top of the page for the food
to make your selection. Some of the other parts of the site aren't
as helpful, but they are fun to explore.
Food
Components - information about proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals,
etc.
Intelihealth
Nutrition - good explanations of the basic food components,
very much in line with traditional thinking, most of which is fine.
