Speaking of dropping aluminum from the sky, below is a photo of actual
metal foil that was used by the British Army in World War II. Could this be the
first 'chemtrail' ever? They came up with the operation called "Window" in which
packets of aluminum strips were dropped from aircraft to generate a cloud of false
echoes in an attempt to disrupt radar signals. Hmmm... sounds very similar to what
HAARP does. The British Army's first use of these aluminum strips was on July 24, 1943.

Environmentalists sound alarm over man-made virus

Scientists from the United States have created a simple virus from scratch, assembling more than 5,000 DNA building blocks, which they say could eventually lead to genetically-modified organisms able to eat carbon dioxide and clean the environment.

The idea provoked immediate opposition from environmental campaigners who branded it "very dangerous and a bit madcap" and warned that such organisms could run amok.

Led by Dr Craig Venter, the scientist who became famous for his commercial drive in the unravelling of the human genome, the team at the Institute for Biological Energy Alternatives stitched together the DNA of a bacteriophage - a virus which infects bacteria, not humans - using pieces of DNA available commercially. Spencer Abraham, the US Energy Secretary, suggested that it would lead to genetic manipulation of new organisms to solve pressing problems such as rising levels of carbon dioxide leading to climate change.

Roger Hickman, climate campaigner at the pressure group Friends of the Earth, said: "I can't see why what looks like a risky strategy, using GM bacteria, is being pursued over more sensible strategies like better energy efficiency."

HAARP Facility to Quadruple Power:
The ARRL Letter Vol. 22, No. 43, October 31, 2003

Technical Specialist Richard Lampe, KL1DA, represented the League at the 2003 High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project (HAARP) RFI meeting September 24 at the HAARP site near Gakona, Alaska. "Joint funding through DARPA will allow HAARP to quadruple in size from its current 960 kW output to 3.6 MW," Lampe says. "When completed in 2006, HAARP will then be the premier ionospheric research facility with beam-steering capabilities that other similar arrays worldwide don't have." Under terms of its experimental license, HAARP must transmit on a non-interference basis, and Lampe--who is ARRL liaison to HAARP--says the staff at the control center immediately shut down the transmitters when harmonics were detected on 75/80 meters during experiments last year. "Alaska hams monitor the bands and aid HAARP engineers by reporting RFI issues as soon as they happen," Lampe said.
