JAMA
Reports on long-term exposure to fine particulate air pollution.
CONCLUSION: Long-term exposure to combustion-related fine particulate air
pollution is an important environmental risk factor for cardiopulmonary
and lung cancer mortality.
American
Medical Association says
"Particulate
matter air pollution is especially harmful to people with lung disease such
as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes
chronic bronchitis and emphysema, as well as people with heart disease."
United
States Environmental Protection Agency
says "scientific
studies have linked particulate matter,... with a series of significant
health problems, including: Premature death."
This article clearly states particulate matter is not good for you yet they
say nothing about the aerosol operations which intentionally put particulate
matter in our air.
