Amber Coverdale Sumrall has received the 2010 Gail Rich Award for her contribution to the cultural life of Santa Cruz County, California through her poetry, her poetry workshops and retreats, and her co-presenting the annual In Celebration of the Muse reading by 20 women authors of the Santa Cruz area.  Learn more in the article by Wallace Baine in the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
Rosie King’s poem “Night Heron” from Sweetwater, Saltwater was read by poet Marc Beaudin on his weekly 10-minute poetry and jazz radio broadcast Report from the Mountains on WUCX 90.1 FM, Delta College Public Radio in North Dakota.  Listen to the 10-minute episode, including Marc Beaudin’s reading of “Night Heron.”
• A book review by Michelle McEwen of Sweetwater, Saltwater by Rosie King appears on the website of the literary review Rattle.
On the Water Meridian by Barbara Bloom and Sweetwater, Saltwater by Rosie King were nominated for the first annual Poetry award from the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association (2008).
